Collect
ProAct automatically gathers energy related data from a store's controller, corresponding to standard electric, gas, and water utilities. This data may be compared to previous data or an established benchmark. This enables retailers to understand their best and worst performing stores, allowing them to prioritize facility maintenance resources appropriately.
Analyze
More than performing simple comparisons, ProAct enables retailers to execute comprehensive energy analysis, such as base load and performance analysis, kWh per square foot analysis, degree days, linear regression and ranking charts. Cross referencing these resuls with asset data can even help operators target equipment upgrades.
Alert
ProAct's built-in tools enable retailers to create and monitor energy budgets. Access to historical data even allows contract analysis to determine the best provider for a given location. Configurable alarms allow instant e-mail notification of anomalies in consumption or performance. Energy alarms can be set to report
when something unexpected occurs, notifying operators right away.
Hosted Software
Like other aspects of ProAct, these new energy tools are hosted by Emerson in their state-of-the-art ProAct® Service Center. All are 100% web based, so no special software is required. All a retailer needs is a PC and an Internet connection to access ProAct.
